Did you know that you as a Christian, you have the Christian gift of the legacy of a champion? You truly need to believe and expect great things that God has in store for you. You have to expect God’s favor, abundance, and blessings in every area of your life. He wants to give you victory in each and every situation and circumstance. Can you think of certain situations in your past which you just did not give your best effort, and didn’t really try? Everyone, because of our human imperfections, sometimes chooses to be lazy or just not try at all. But the examples given by Christ in the New Testament books are completely the opposite! Peter also says in (Colossians 3:23) “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men."
This is the true Christian way! If you can simply remember this bible verse, and offer your best at whatever you do, because you are doing everything as if they were doing it for God alone. Put your whole heart into whatever it is you are supposed to do, God will recognize that and bless you for it. You should strive for and pursue excellence in all you do as a Christian, for the sake of God; and always remember, He blesses excellence!
Striving to always live a life of excellence is possible when you begin to understand God as Christians. Don’t work just for your boss or for a paycheck. Instead, work for God. When your focus is on God in whatever you do, you are living out His exciting purpose for you. That’s why God wants you to put your whole heart into everything you do . . . every day.
Christians were meant to stand out in a crowd, and that is what God truly wants. You should be able to tell a Christian by their actions and how they differ from the rest of the world. Rather than be part of the constantly lost flock. A Christian should soar like the eagle, higher and higher above the earth! Follow God with conviction, and give your very best effort at all times.
(Romans 12:6) says; "We all have different gifts, according to the grace given us." As a Christian understanding why God put you here is one of the most important principles when it comes to discovering your unique purpose and calling in life. The reason is that knowing why you are here on earth helps you answer the question of why God has uniquely gifted you the way He has, and what He has called you to accomplish individually.
There’s nothing more exciting than to discover your God given purpose, your area of calling and really focus on it! Never let the (enemy) convince you you’ve been forgotten or left out. As a Christian, God has not left anybody out. We all have talents, we all have abilities, we all have natural strengths and God wants you to be aware of yours and make sure that you’re taking advantage of them, using them for His glory alone. There is truly something important that only you can accomplish for God!
(Proverbs 3:5-6) – Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
We have many things in our past that we are thankful for, but even greater things are in the future for us! The Bible says you won’t even have enough room to hold everything that God wants to pour out on you. It is impossible to out-give God, and you should be thankful for that, because He continues to give you His victorious legacy as a Christian.

“Enough” is an often-used word in our language. It reflects adequacy — from insufficiency to exaggeration — of the subject that is the focus of attention, including people, places, things, and ideas. It can describe quantity or quality, depending on the subject or object. The relationship to the subject often determines the perception of what is “enough.”
How Am I?
You, of course, have opinions about your own and others’ adequacies and inadequacies. Such opinions can enhance relationships, although they more often detract from them. Can you imagine how your relationships might be changed if you showed up to interact with another without any opinions about your own or the other’s adequacy? Consider that for a moment.
It is common for people to believe in their own inadequacies. I often hear a person say (audibly or inaudibly), “I am not _______ enough.” Anything might go into that blank: short, tall, young, old, beautiful, slim. A variation is “I do not have enough ______.” Often people measure themselves against external criteria to decide if they are (or are not) enough or have (or do not have) enough. Consider how your own life would be if you believed in your magnificence without measurements.
How Do You Feel About It?
The key to whether or not an adequacy or inadequacy is a driver for you is how you feel about it. If you do not have enough skills to do a job that is of no interest to you, you will not generate many feelings, positive or negative. If you do not have enough skills to do a job that is of major interest to you, you will have strong feelings. Those feelings may prompt you into action or lead you to a path of despair or disappointment. Actually, the possibilities are too numerous to mention. How you feel about your own magnificence is often the key to open the door to happiness and prosperity.
How Much Is Enough?
Recently I attended a scientific lecture. A question came from the audience, “How much is required?” The scientist answered the question with a single word, “Enough.” The respectful audience allowed him the silence that made his point even more profoundly. Some of us giggled in appreciation while others seemed ready to push for more specific, measurable information. He expanded his answer, “Enough to be effective. Not too much, not too little. Enough.” Then most in the audience could appreciate what he was saying, and were able to let go of having a “rule” to write down in their notes.
Understanding “enough” as a principle allows you to use/have/be amounts or qualities that are different from others, and still be effective or feel satisfied and valuable. You know how much is enough by how you feel.
When Is Enough, Enough?
Years ago when I began my career helping people in groups, I noticed a dynamic of rehashing a decision that a group had already made. As a facilitator not emotionally involved in the content, I could easily view and recognize when enough was enough. This is sometimes more difficult when you are actively engaged in the discussion. Another variation on this question is: “Are we done yet?” Sometimes you just need to claim that you have had enough or that you are complete. It can be gentle or jolting. Many of us can certainly recall a parent’s or teacher’s voice, louder than usual, saying firmly as a euphemism for stop, “Enough!” So, in that case, enough is enough when the one in authority says it is.
What Is Your Question About Enough?
Today, consider what question you want to explore about being, having, or doing enough. Often I find that having a good question is more important than having a good answer. What is your question?

In our fast paced society we often want everything done quickly or your boss wants it done yesterday. In your spiritual life are you a Microwave or Crock Pot? I think often we want God to answer our prayers in Microwave fashion. I prayed a specific request today and I want it answered today. If our prayers are not answered quickly, we often wonder, “What is God doing?” We also decide to go it on our own and not wait for God’s direction. Often it is difficult to wait on God’s timing.
When we are in Crock pot mode we pray and rest in the knowledge that God’s timing is best. Often, God may have to let several things simmer in our life before he answers our prayer. Many times in my life I have seen God’s handiwork after the situation is over. If God had answered my prayer the way I wanted him to, it would not have gone well at all. God knows what is best for us and when it is best for something to happen.
I look at Scripture and see God works in Microwave and Crock Pot mode. When Daniel was in the lion’s den God worked immediately to shut the mouths of the lions. I have to admit if I was Daniel I would want to know why God didn’t act before I got thrown in the lion’s den. Daniel being thrown in the lion’s den was used to reflect God’s glory and power. God also works in Crock Pot mode. Do you remember Joshua and the battle of Jericho? The people of Israel were marching around a wall for 7 days. Don’t you imagine they asked God, “Why?” During that time Rahab was getting her family ready to leave Jericho. Could it be that God took seven days of marching around Jericho, to save one woman and her family? Could it be that God took that time for one woman who was faithful to God in spite of her lifestyle, in spite of her whole community being against God to show his glory? Most of the Israelites did not know about Rahab, but God did. In God’s perfect timing he rescued the Israelites and Rahab, not in the way the Israelites would have wanted. God gave them victory in the battle in Crock pot mode.
So, I ask you are you in Microwave mode or Crock Pot mode in your spiritual life? Please remember God is always in control even when it feels everything is out of control. Trust God’s timing and know he only wants what is best for you.

There are a lot of theories and success secrets out there. The most famous ones are ‘You have to know what you want’, ‘ goal setting is the key’, ‘ you must have a positive mental attitude’. But one of the least known secret of success, sometimes not even the successful people realizing it, is the ability to take Personal Initiative, to take action.
Andrew Carnegie, the richest man in the world over a century ago, said that “there two kind of men who will never amount to anything. The first are the ones who doesn’t do what they are told and the second are the ones who cant even do what they are told.” The people that get ahead in their careers and in life are actually those who not only do what they are told, they usually do more, add more value to the work.
So how do we take initiative at work?
Before you can take initiative on anything, you first have to decide your objective. What do you want to accomplish? How do you want to accomplish it? Create a plan of action and start following the plan.
Along the way, you will find that there are people who will be willing to help you achieve your objective. Seek them out and work with them. If you have encounter problems, work with skilled experts. Ignore critics because there are no known monuments for critics.
When a task is completed, examine it. Is it the best job you could have done? What might have made it better? Why don’t you take that step right now? Personal Initiative depends on your being alert to every opportunity and acting on that opportunity as soon as you discover it.
Never wait for outside source to trigger your actions. Procrastination is the archenemy of Personal Initiative, and if you let procrastination to become a habit in the early game, you will have very big difficulty in overcoming it.
Strength you develop when you have habit of Personal Initiative
Here are some of the strength you will develop when you equip yourself with the habit of Personal Initiative.
A team who will work with you – Its true that if you start showing your desire to work towards an objective, you will eventually seek out people who are willing to aid you towards that objective.
Self-discipline – Personal Initiative and Self-Discipline goes hand in hand with each other. Without one, you can’t have the other. And Self-Discipline is one of the toughest habits to acquire.
Persistence – A valuable habit. Persistence based on the will to win will also be developed.
Going the extra mile – One of the most important factors in any personal success is the habit of going the extra mile. With personal initiative, you will also develop this habit.
Responsibilities – Most people hope to have the least responsibilities as possible. I believe the more responsibilities you have, the faster you will achieve your objective. The ability to assume full responsibility is highly valuable.
Sense of detailed – You will develop a sense to details because since you are taking the initiative to produce the work, everything you do, you will do with pride.
As long as you can develop this habit, you will be presented with opportunities along the way.

As inspiring as it is, even inspiration has no value unless it is applied. We could have a hundred toolboxes full of the sharpest tools possible, but unless we open that box up, they’re useless. Then beyond just opening our own particular boxes up, we have to feel inspired enough to actually use those tools. Looking at them may make us feel good, and if what we are after is to collect pretty tools, that will have some value. But their true value, for those of us who want to apply them for the construction of our lives, is in their application.
So the most useful question to ask ourselves might not be “What to use?” or even, “How do I use these tools?” but rather, “What inspires me to pick them up and use them?” Because once we are inspired, invariably the question of “How to?” gets answered during the application of the tools. Practice makes perfect and all that.
You can’t learn how to be a great bike rider without getting up and pedaling every day, yet with the tools of inspiration, we have this strange notion that any one of us, especially those who are highly successful, have done just that: got to where we are through some magic process that took no work, little sweat, and God forbid, a lot of time! If you only knew the mistakes made in the name of keeping on! They are legion. As legion as the time these processes take. During each individual process, the information necessary for our training in the use of tools is everywhere: “Do this for twenty times a day, keep this journal, use this acronyming practice, read this book, take this seminar.” However, these kinds of clear instructions are not all of what we require to be successful, as valuable as this coaching is. Yes, do what is suggested. But prior to those suggestions, before we even become willing to take up what is offered, what we first require in order to be successful, is the inspiration for application!
What then, inspires you to pick up the tools and use them? For me, it’s the freedom that the application of tools for success provides. The freedom to make more and more choices, more and more of the time. Choices such as where I want to go, what I want to do, how I want to feel, and the gifts I want to give to myself and to others. Gifts of my time, my energy, and my love. What a life! These are the choices of always heading in the direction of a stronger connection as Source, a clearer sense of self, joyous relationship with others, great health, loving family, a satisfying career, a chosen avocation, more money, ever increasing wealth, total abundance, and internal joy all while making a difference in people’s lives.
The attainment of the choices we each make is the value we seek through all we be, do, and have. Value keeps us focused on what we want and pushes us to do whatever it takes to get the job of acquiring value done. Value is the carrot on the stick, whatever our particular carrot is! For instance, with relationship, when things get difficult, what keeps us pursuing that relationship until it works out in the way we desire it to, is either the value we have known, or the value that we plan to experience at the fruition of our efforts. Maybe it’s a strong sense of family, or an overwhelming experience of love, or to simply get along with another that’s it for us. That’s our value!
For each of us, the way we get inspired, and then more importantly, the means we discover for staying inspired, is different. One thing to consider is that staying inspired is a process that takes place in the moment, day by day, and moment by moment. Nobody “finds” their inspiration and that’s it. The application of our inspiration is like doing pushups. You wouldn’t expect to do one pushup and then be fit for the rest of the year, now would you? Yet we expect that kind of result with our inner work! For instance, we often think that when we give up being angry once, then anger is gone forever. Don’t worry about that one! We have plenty of buttons for the pushing, and our hard wiring won’t disappear at the giving up of any particular one of our reactions that usually get in the way of our being successful.
We will always have more pushups to do! At those times of being in upset, whenever I share this information with others in a way that supports them in making the choices they wish to make for their lives too, I get re-inspired. The motto that bests represents this action more than any other, is that of “give it away to live it away” or WYGYL! What You Give, You Live! WYGYL! is a fundamental acronyming practice right out of the acronyming book Acronyming POWER Your Life! It’s a core truth that can’t be wiggled out of! WYGYL!
What keeps you up at night? What occupies your thoughts when you are daydreaming about how you would like your life to be? What solutions would you like to come up with that the application of would cause you to be satisfied? What is your core requirement for the having of this joy? Now is the time to get out that pencil or pen, and simply jot a few of these questions and answers down.
The question remains: What is your inspiration for application?

MOST PEOPLE NEVER REALLY CHANGE
Sad, but true.
Some people never even try.
But those of us who do – and I assume that you are in that group – often experience great frustration and disappointment as we encounter the same limitations over and over again.
Life can start to seem downright repetitive.
CREATING SOMETHING FROM NOTHING
Why is it that in most cases your life keeps looking like some variation of whatever you’ve experienced before?
The answer is: because you are creating something from something. You’re attempting to create a new and different future based on the limitations of your past.
Imagine that you are a potter and you have a piece of clay. You can study your craft and make pots that are smoother, sturdier, or more beautiful than before. But when all is said and done, they’re still just clay pots.
Who says you have to be a potter? And who says you can only make things out of clay?
G-D CREATES SOMETHING FROM NOTHING
There is a fundamental kabbalistic principle of Creation known as ‘yesh m’ayin’ – something from nothing.
This principle explains that G-d is bringing the entire world, including you, into existence from absolute nothingness at every moment.
G-d didn’t create this world once and withdraw back into Heaven, where He supervises from a distance and intervenes when appropriate. Rather, He is actively and intentionally speaking the world into existence from nothing in the present moment, again and again and again. In fact, if G-d would stop creating this world – with all of its myriad details – at any moment, the world and everything in it would disappear as if it had never been.
Based on this, two things are clear:
1. The world has no existence outside of G-d. Everything we experience in life is part of G-d and His intention and purpose for Creation.
2. G-d desires the world – and you – with an intense and personal desire. Everything you do has great meaning and significance to Him. That’s why He keeps on creating you.
Remember those old commercials where a little kid said something like: “I must be good because G-d made me, and G-d doesn’t make junk”?
Actually, the truth is much more powerful than that. G-d doesn’t make anything or anyone without a profound purpose. He passionately desires you and just as passionately wants you to desire Him. And He is waiting – with bated breath – for you to embrace the Divine purpose for which you have been created. To make your life, your relationships and your circumstances a “dwelling place” for the Divine.
WHAT’S NOTHINGNESS?
G-d creates from Nothing because Nothingness, ayin, actually means absolute, infinite possibility. No limitations. No restrictions. None at all.
When you don’t need to be any particular something, you’re free to be anything. Kabbalah calls this infinite potential nothingness – not because there’s nothing there, but because there are absolutely no limitations that define or restrict this infinite possibility in any way.
YOU’RE ALREADY CREATING SOMETHING FROM NOTHING
As a human beings created in the image of G-d, you are also empowered to create something from nothing. And you do, all the time.
Unfortunately, most of the time what we create from nothing are the stories about what we can’t do, aren’t capable of, will never have – together with all the reasons why.
These stories are continuously being recreated from nothing in each of our lives. But unlike G-d, who creates consciously, we create this reality unconsciously. It’s a sort of default programming. Yes, I understand that you have reasons for what you believe, but those reasons, while they may help to explain your past, do not have the power to limit your future. Unless you think they do, and act accordingly.
Most of us don’t wake up in the morning in awe of our own potential, in touch with our Divine purpose, filled with the joy of life, ready to create. More often we wake up all-too-conscious of our limitations, our disappointments, our frustrations, our unfulfilled needs, and the burdensome problems we need to solve. No wonder so many of us are worn out before we even get out of bed.
HAROLD AND THE PURPLE CRAYON
You might have read a cute little children’s book called “Harold and the Purple Crayon”. In this book, Harold, a baby, draws things with his purple crayon on his bedroom walls. He draws things like castles, mountains, roads and tigers. The interesting part is that then Harold climbs the mountains, runs down the roads, explores the castles and runs away from the tigers. Sometimes he gets so far into the picture that he can’t figure out how to get home again – but then, he just takes his purple crayon and draws the road back.
Harold is always creating something from nothing.
YOU CAN CREATE SOMETHING FROM NOTHING TOO
Your life, your present and future, is actually an ayin – nothing. Yes, as a soul in a specific physical body, there are some limits to what you can create.
But you have no idea what they are.
- – Do you want to experience unconditional love? How would you behave if you were committed to love others unconditionally, especially those people who long for your love? Your parents. Your children. Your spouse. Your friends. What if you noticed, accepted and appreciated the way they love you – even if it doesn’t yet look exactly the way you want it to look?
What might happen today if you behaved that way? What if you stayed committed to that experience over time – what might happen to your most intimate relationships, your family, your community, your world? Don’t shortchange yourself by skipping over this question. Really think about it.
- – Do you want to experience your power to live as a creator rather than a victim in your life? How would you behave if you refused to let your fears and past failures put any limits on what you do right now?
What would you do that you’ve been putting off? What else? What might you actually create or achieve over time if you do those things? And perhaps even more important, what would life be like for you right now if you choose to be a person who isn’t stopped by fear?
Do you want to be more intimately in touch with your Creator and your Divine purpose? How would you behave if you were a person committed to seeing G-d’s intimate, infinite and loving presence in all aspects of your life? What if every action you take was based on the assumption that nothing is wrong – because G-d is intentionally, creating your world right now on behalf of your ultimate purpose and fulfillment?
What might your life be like – today – if you behaved that way? How about your relationships? Your energy? Your happiness? Your peace of mind?
HOW TO CREATE MIRACLES
Like a farmer who tills his field, plants seeds, waters and tends them, sometimes it can take time to see the results of your efforts. But if you are willing to create something from nothing, you don’t have to twiddle your thumbs while you wait for things to grow. The very decision to be a creator in your own life brings with it some powerful, intrinsic rewards; rewards like joy, fulfillment – and miracles.

I turned 29 last week, and if statistics are right and I
die on or around my 78th birthday, I am almost 40%
done. In a numbers game, that is pretty close to
half way. This had me thinking about when I played
basketball in high school and college. I thought most
about the half time events in the locker room.
Whether we were winning or losing at half time, the
whole team gathered in the locker room and the
coach would give us a talk. There were two major
topics we discussed. One was to reflect on what
went right and wrong in the first half, and the other
was to decide what our strategy was in the second
half so we could win.
Thinking of that and my life, I decided to reflect on
how I wanted to feel going into the locker room at
halftime.
Stay Disciplined. At halftime, I definitely
want my
coach to say I was disciplined. Now that I finally
figured out the direction I want my life to take, I
have been pretty disciplined about accomplishing my
goals. I deserve to continue on that path and honor
my desires with persistence and patience. Often
coaches ask their players to be and stay disciplined
in carrying out the game plan they have developed.
So far, my game plan has worked well. Now I need to
keep on it and finish well.
Take more risks. Life rewards those who take
risks.
This is all about trusting yourself. If you cannot take
a risk on yourself, you are going nowhere. Use your
instincts and intuition, make decisions and see what
happens. When I played basketball with my brother,
he LOVED diving on the floor for a loose ball. There
were days he succeeded and days he didn’t. Sure
he got
bruises and floor burns, but that was the risk he
took. We won a few big games because of that risk,
and that was worth it in itself.
Enjoy the game. I remember my high-school
coach
saying: “go out there and have fun.” Those words
ring true today as well. We deserve to have fun in
our game of life. Aside from the winning and
discipline, what good is it if it isn’t fun? My wife
always reminds me it is the journey that is more
important than the destination. So I am going to
make sure that I am having fun along the way.
Cherish your team. I look around at all the
people who
will help me succeed in my game of life, MY team.
My Mom, Dad, Brother, Wife, friends and family. If
we neglect our team, there is no way we will feel
victorious at the end. I have asked myself: How can
I spend more time with them? Show my love for
them? Help them in their game? Get to know your
team. All athletes know that great team dynamics
lead to victories. Even a well played game that is
lost, sill has great feelings and stories.
Those are the things I think about as I approach my
half time of life. It may be the last 5 minutes for all I
know. I have decided to make whatever time is left,
the best.
CHALLENGE This week I challenge you to
look at your game. What is your game plan that you have
developed? What risks are you taking? What is one thing you do on a daily basis to have fun? Who is someone on
your team you can contact RIGHT NOW to let them
know you appreciate them? Who is your coach?

Faith, these five word sentence has many things and hundred meanings associated with it. Many people have won thousands of wars single handedly only on the basis of this word faith. This is a magical word. It has many powers hidden inside. Faith is present in every part of life. It is present in religions, relationships and friendships. Due to this faith many miracles have happened in this world. Faith provides the person with some mysterious power.
In faith people are able to walk on fire, nail themselves or submerge in sand. Faith can transform a simple person into an extraordinary human being. Swami Vivekananda was transformed into a great saint when he got faith. He dedicated his whole life to transfer this faith to others. Faith may be of any type, it has tremendous power in transforming people. It is not the case that the faith of one religion is stronger than that of other religion.
However the main difference is put by the person who has faith. Therefore I saw the religions are as strong as the faith of their followers. If the faith of followers is destroyed then religion will be also destroyed. Same is the case with relations also. Once the faith in the relations got missing, the relations collapse. Therefore it is important for us to understand faith and use it to make our and others life more fruitful. For me faith is like a soul for human being and without it, he is dead.

In Wallace D. Wattles’ 1910 self-help classic, The Science of Getting Rich, he describes a method of psychological training that he calls Mental Science. The general idea is that your thought has power to affect the physical world around you. Change the little random events and decisions that determine your luck throughout a given day, and the mathematics involved in how things “organically” unfold in natural and social systems result in very large and significant changes.
After a lifetime of what he considered to be personal failure, Wattles felt he had finally come across the perfect way to succeed at just about everything in life, be it health, wealth or personal power. He felt compelled to write it all down, and proceeded to do so for the last several years of his life. In addition to The Science of Getting Rich, Wattles also wrote The Science of Being Well and The Science of Being Great in what his daughter described as a flurry of activity before he died.
The author writes that he noticed the trend while voraciously reading about the science, faith and thought of the world. After assimilating all these ideas, he believed he’d found a clear trend running throughout the entirety of human thought on how the world actually worked – the mystery explained. Obviously, if you’d found the answer to life, the universe and everything, you’d want to tell someone about it.
The text draws on religious and philosophical thought from all over the world, picking the juicy little bits from such disparate sources as Marconi, Emerson and Spinoza. Especially prevalent is the notion that all energy and matter are essentially the same thing, so in theory, if you could influence a single small, but unmistakably critical decision, you could influence any event, no matter how big or how improbable.
Wattles decided to outline this idea in this book (and others) as a prescription for conducting one’s own thoughts in a “Certain Way,” to achieve specific goals. Wattles promises the reader in the introduction, “the science herein applied is an exact science, and failure is impossible.” His audience were people in the early 20th century United States, where millions of people living in the tenement sections of the large cities left school to work while still children, and worked 16 hour days to the exclusion of time for reading. He realized such a book would have to be practical and easily digestible. It also had to be very generally inoffensive.
The Science of Getting Rich is now enjoying a popular resurgence, due to the publicity given in the movie, “The Secret.” When Rhonda Byrne hit her personal and emotional rock bottom, her daughter sent her a copy of the book. The ideas contained set her off on a 4-month reading jog where she made that connection herself, giving her the idea to contact other practitioner and student of Wattles’ work together in “The Secret.”
Wattles borrowed much from the then still young U.S. New Thought movement. He was a student of Dr. Phineas Quimby, who had laid out the principles of New Thought as they applied to the mind-body connection 40 years before. Many continued on with Dr. Quimby’s work, eventually broadening the concept to apply to the nothing less than the entire Universe. Wattles was also a contemporary of such other self-help genre pioneers as Thomas Troward and Charles F. Haanel.
There was a great deal of popular thought going around in the late 19th century that was investigating the relationship of thought to the physical world. Consider, at the same time the theories of Quantum Mechanics and practical applications of electricity were cutting edge technology. Curious intellectuals actively sought information on not only science and philosophy, but also “Oriental” and ancient occultism. Ideas as thought manifestation and visualization were heavily borrowed from such practices. The influential book Thought Vibration or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World was published in 1906 by William Walker Atkinson and had proven very popular. Madame Blavatsky created her highly influential New York City Theosophical Society in 1875, blending science, faith and mental practice.
Wattles himself died in 1911, perhaps knowing what effect his work would have on future generations. Though, he certainly seemed to know how important it was to get his ideas on paper before he died. It is thought his early death at 51 may have influenced the sales of his book on wellness, though the ideas contained therein have certainly been subtly rewritten in the form of many diet books of the 1970s and 80s.
Wattles’ other books include A New Christ, Health Through New Thought and Fasting, Making of the Man Who Can and Hellfire Harrison (a novel).
Because his works were published before 1923, they are today a matter of public domain, and freely available online in electronic form. As such, many organizations publish the title and give it away for free, in exchange for personal information or signing up for a newsletter or use it as part of a larger book.

If you look around at the top performers today in any field – sports, sales, or even coaching itself – you’ll find that almost all of these top performers have at least one thing in common. They all had a coach at one time or another in their professional careers.
Whether your field is golf, tennis, running, sales, business management, or
writing, a coach can help you perform at a much higher level. Here’s how:
1. A good coach will keep you motivated. Since you’ll have to report regularly
to your coach, you’ll get constant feedback and encouragement, which will
keep you motivated to achieve your best.
2. A good coach will offer a system for success. With a system in place, you’ll
be more likely to stick with it. Plus, you won’t be taking just a hit-or-miss
approach to success.
3. A good coach will help you learn to plan. Your coach will help you set goals
that are realistic and design training that will help you achieve those goals. In
other words, a good coach will keep you focused.
4. A good coach will offer you professional advice. After a while, you won’t rely
on your coach for every decision you make about your career or performance.
But you’ll still want the coach around when you need a little professional
advice.
5. A good coach will help you get beyond certain plateaus when you no longer
seem to be moving ahead and improving. Working alone, you might feel stuck
at a certain point in your career. But a good coach will help you overcome
those plateaus and move ahead to the next level of performance and
accomplishment.
6. A good coach will help you accurately evaluate your progress. Sometimes it’s
difficult to evaluate our own progress. We tend to focus on the negative, and
only see our faults and failures. A good coach will help you see things more
realistically.
7. A good coach will make the process fun. Let’s face it. What’s the sense in
striving for your highest level of performance if you aren’t going to enjoy the
process? Your coach will help you design a working schedule that won’t
overwhelm you, so you’ll enjoy the entire process of achieving your best.
Top performers in all fields would probably tell you they wouldn’t be where
they are today without a good coach.
Everyone needs a coach. So find a coach who is right for you. Then get ready to
enjoy the climb to your top level of performance.
