What awaits us as we leave the world we were born and raised in? An environment that has taught us everything we know. The topic of death is topic that can be debated for hours on end. The question many of ask is, “what awaits us on the other side?” Hundreds of books have been written many have debated with skepticism. And for the many people who have experienced near death experiences.
They have claimed that these moments they spent near death were the most peaceful, warm and wonderful moments of their life. Many have said that those moments cannot be describable with words. It goes beyond words. Many have claimed that they saw a light. Some say they saw people who they loved who died stand before them in the moments they were near death. I ask you.
Is their a better place that awaits us?
A place with peace, with love, a place where no evil exists, just endless love, a place where there is only harmony, where the concept of pain does not exist. Most of us fear death. I know I do, but as I write this piece to you and think about what many have described, “the crossing over” to be like then my mind begin to wonders and my fear begins to slowly disintegrate because if there is a wonderful place that awaits when we cross over then maybe death isn’t so bad and maybe we shouldn’t be so feared or saddened by death. And for the people who believe that once you die your life is over and that’s it. Well, I would like to ask you if the miracle of birth exists, if a woman can conceive a life (the wonderful elements and characteristics that a person has), the ability to grow, to live, to learn and to love, and the ability to reproduce life over and over again.
How was all these wonderful things created for us? Who created them? Where did they create them? Is there another place beside this world? If you look around and think for a second, “how did air we breathe we breathe get here?” The ability to smell, see and understand and create the things that bring the happiness in our lives? And look at our bodies, the changes in ourselves as each year passes by. Each year the pieces of life begin to fall in place and I begin to understand so many things that never made sense in my life before. And at the end when we finally put the puzzle together it’s now time to go. Why does it take so long to put the puzzle together? And when we put the puzzle of life together where are we supposed to go with all that knowledge? Is there a reason why we’re here? Are we in training? Is there a better place waiting for us? Are we here to get rid of the evil people who fail the test and the ones who pass cross over to the heavens above.
A place that waits for us and then rewards us once we arrive. Once we pass our training will our rewards be waiting for us in the heavens? Maybe we shouldn’t use the word death, because it sounds so morbid and so final. The ones who are crossing over are going to be rewarded in a wonder place where we refer to as heaven. Their new life is just beginning.
And they aren’t leaving us. There souls cross over and they still remain in our hearts. Because when they cross over they leave their love, their cares, there memories they implanted in our souls. They leave everything wonderful about them with us. They leave a piece of themselves with us. Because where there going there is plenty of love and harmony to go around. And when they were physically with you they listened and watched over you, they cared for you, protected you, and loved you when they were here.
Why shouldn’t they love and protect you when they are there in the heavens?
In loving memory of Rose Mann who is being rewarded as she crosses over. Isaiah 57:2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

The words desire and want are very common to us. All of us have been using these words for what seems like forever now. People are used to saying “I desire this” or “I want this”. By saying these words, a lot of energy starts moving around, getting people and situations ready for the fulfilment of the desire and want.
So saying “I desire this” or “I want this” is okay as it is the process by which creation happens and is the expression of the Self wanting to experience. Someone somewhere said “I want people to fly and travel at great speeds” and so the aeroplane was invented.
Here is where these words start getting complicated though. What happens if a desire remains unfulfilled for some time?
When a desire remains unfulfilled for some time, that person starts getting into a state of ‘desire’ or ‘want’ and when people remain in states of desire and want for extended periods of time, they start craving the object of desire, and the desire or want which started as a simple wish, grows to mammoth proportions and becomes an obsession. This is where feverishness enters the arena. At this point all creation forces stop as energy gets blocked and manifestation does not happen or slows down tremendously.
And once craving becomes part of a person’s energy field, the Law of Attraction brings back more reasons to remain in a state of craving.
Why does this happen? Why do desires get blocked from fulfilment?
Desires get blocked from fulfilment when a person’s ‘Self-Worth’ is tied to it. When we connect our self-worth to the object or subject of desire and try to fill up an empty space within us, a huge resistance starts building up, and very soon all energies get troubled, and it becomes difficult to sail smoothly in troubled waters.
This is where ‘intentions’ come in handy.
When we intend something, it comes out more as a command of creation, rather than a statement of lack. Intentions get the Mind to come from a place of power, and this power of creation goes out into the Universe and starts a process very akin to cooking. And what happens then is that the Universe starts cooking and comes out with a wonderfully tasting dish all ready to serve.
Intentions empower people. It gets the mind to focus on the present and to be 100% in the moment. You can easily imagine all your scattered mental energy coming together, focussing and creating.
Intentions carry a lot of purposefulness as a person who intends something into happening is most times focussed only on the pure desire than a feeling of a lack of self-worth which requires a fulfilment of that desire to feel okay (a short path to depression).
The Universe always recognises empowerment. So much better to intend and make things happen than to go into craving, right?
Let us help the Law of Attraction help us by coming from the space of conscious creation through the use of proper intentions. Disconnect your self-worth from your desires.

If you look carefully in life, you will find that most of your procrastination is the result of deluding yourself.
Procrastinators often choose to deny reality and refuse to accept responsibility for their lives.
Therefore to truly eliminate procrastination, we must be willingly to stop all blaming games. And the fact is you cannot possible aim to overcome procrastination until you accept that you are truly 100% responsible for the things you have or lack of in life.
Well, it may be true that this may be more honesty than many people are capable of handling. However, I really cannot think of other ways where one can possibly achieve a richer life.
If you are really serious about eliminating procrastination, your willingness to recognize procrastination as a problem is a must.
Like all of us, procrastinators also have problems of their own, regardless whether they are big or small.
However what’s different is that for them, most of their problems are caused by them procrastinating in doing what is necessary.
Procrastinators share certain traits:
They know about a problem and know of a way to solve them. However in many cases they choose of find themselves valid “reasons” to avoid doing so.They are making empty promises that they will do something about the problem in the future. Their favorite phrase, “Tomorrow it will be done!”, whereas the tomorrow never comes. They delude themselves by thinking and claiming that they would have finished the job or complete the task if not for something that happens. Often procrastinators like to make performance of the job dependent on something else thus they can then “justify” why they continuously delay actions. Now do you happen to share any of the above traits? Don’t worry if you do for I believe we all tend to fall into such un-resourceful habits once in a while.
Now even so, that doesn’t justify why you shouldn’t be taking any actions in trying to replace those un-resourceful habits with resourceful ones.
In fact, research has shown that you can actually develop new habits in just two weeks if you’re serious about changing!
Start thinking about people you know who always get things done. What type of work habits can you model? What mentality or essential skills do they have to aid them in completing unappealing tasks? Also, how do they stay focused in completing them?
Stand on the shoulders of your friends or of the giants to help you transcend from where you are to places where you want to be.
Be teachable and learn from them.
Now here are some simple tricks that you can use to help you in taking charge of your life today.
Mentally prepare yourself to be productive. If possible, try to begin your day in prayer or meditation. You may also want to consider keeping some inspirational messages handy so that you can take a look at them when you are down or feel like procrastinating.Visualizing my successes during the day also greatly help me in defeating procrastination. Through visualization, you will be able to see in your mind’s eyes the things you have accomplished and the sense of accomplishing after completing those unappealing tasks.Tackle the hardest and most tedious job first. After those unappealing tasks, completing the rest of the tasks at hand should be a breeze.Identify the time of the day when you are most productive. Personally, I find myself accomplishing more work in the morning and less focused in the afternoon. Therefore, I will tend to schedule my time to accomplish my harder jobs in the morning. Now this may sound a bit harsh but most of the time, we often tend to spend too much time socializing at work then doing other more important stuffs. Try to cut down on chit chat and gossip. In this way, you will find that you will have more time for the jobs at hand.If possible, try to redesign your work place so that you can eliminate those things that tend to distract you from your work. Put up a sign at your workplace to remind others that you do not want to be disturbed.
Once again, I will like to remind you that we are really not the victims of our circumstances, unless we choose to be.
You can overcome procrastination now! You can do the things that need to be done and you can learn to distinguish between the things that need to be done now and the things that can wait.
Master all these skills and you will find that success will come to you in a much faster speed than before.

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, considered to be one of the twentieth century’s most influential architects coined the dictum, “less is more” From a design perspective, the overuse of decoration and applied finishes is often considered vulgar compared to the uncomplicated shapes, form and colours such as is found in nature. Feng shui (pronounced “fung shway”) is the ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space to achieve harmony with the environment. The literal translation is “wind and water”. They say that “you should surround yourself with few things, but beautiful things”
As civilizations settled through time, decoration of self or estate was seen as an expression of one’s standing and wealth in society. This job usually fell upon a select few – those who happened to be more read and traveled than most. Their remit to produce works which extolled their patrons in a unique way – this uniqueness often being ‘bigger and better than previous’.
At a deeper level, we feel that our fears, self-doubts and insecurities can be offset by material gain and off we go on a life long ambition in pursuit of this.
Through meditation, one understands that these fears, self-doubts and insecurities are mental distractions to a much deeper part of our nature. Meditation teaches you to transform these and go beyond the mind. The beauty and serenity you identify with a picturesque mountain comes from that deeper part of our nature. In the same way, inspiration and creativity also comes from there.
Basic meditation and concentration exercises help you journey to this place, a place which is light, free and above all else – yours. One soon realizes that true joy and happiness can be achieved when one identifies with this inner beauty and the need for outer name and fame becomes a lot less relevant.
With these inner experiences and with the knowledge that long lasting happiness cannot be achieved through outer gain, designing becomes a process of creating spaces and environments which are lighter, sharper and more harmonious than that of out of scale spaces filled with pretentious clutter.
Through meditation, we soon realise the futility of the fashion race and the amount of energy we devote the ‘keeping up with the Jones’. Sidestepping this enables us to lighten our minds and simplify our spaces. This is where ‘Less is more’. Which room would you feel at more at ease in?
a) – room full of open shelves and sideboards with hundreds of family photos, ceramic statuettes, holiday souvenirs, candle holders, books stacked in every corner, pictures randomly on walls in different frames, chairs & foot stools, fire irons and dried flowers.
b) – closed shelves, soft lined furniture, painting or large photo of landscape or other inspiring image from nature, photo or image of person in a relaxed or meditative state, fresh flowers.
Subconsciously, the busier room consumes our focus and can make us restless. When you spring clean and put out the bin bags for collection, you get a great sense of lightness and freedom – letting go, weight off your shoulders, detachment and sometimes joy
Our energy attaches to each item we possess, no matter if it is a trinket in a box in the attic or a souvenir on the mantle piece, so less items more energy.
In summary, less is more and you surround yourself with few things, but beautiful things.
